i guess it was only a matter of time
Well I hope I paid my dues to the APA this year, because I have to thank them for this one.
And, okay Washington Post, I’ll let you get away with ripping off my blog. This time - as long as you defend me when I get called a “conservative” by the general public.
I hope someone starts a fucking yayhooray.com thread entitled conservatives + APA = task force report and everyone can call them a bunch of pedophiles and send them hate mail all day. At least then we’ll have something in common. I didn’t have the energy to go in there and try to explain to someone with a username of “liberal” why sexualizing a young girl before she can understand what it means could be detrimental to progress, specifically, feminism. I suppose radical feminism is on its way out and this teeny-bopper-Christina-Aguilera type girl power movement is on its way in. But I will not succumb.
(Core of the hate showed up here; this thread served as a teaching point for me as I learned how many Flickr users were unable to abstract, as well as make ridiculous assumptions about my intentions, my general point, and my purpose. I’m not trying to create art, you fuckwads. I’m just trying to show what’s already there.)

I agree that it’s not right to be dressing kids and/or teens like this, especially the boots and mini skirt. But I really don’t know where you, malingering draw the line here.. Where exactly DO you draw the line? Can’t kids wear cute stuff like little skirts and pink shirts? Also, sometimes I really don’t understand your criticism on women that wear heels all the time, and like to dress up. There is nothing wrong with that. I once again understand some of the stuff you write here, but what the hell is wrong with women who like to look nice?
The rest of your stuff is really funny though.

I don’t care if people wear heels. They can do it all they want, as long as the bunions and foot deformities and orthopaedic problems are worth it to them. I also think it would be more fair if men were made equally as uncomfortable, maybe with foot binding or digit amputation. I don’t “have a problem” with much of anything, I just like to comment on it. Everyone can do whatever they like. But I’m allowed to laugh at it.
