the cute-comfort relationship

Yes, those shoes really hurt. They hurt so much that she had a bunch of band-aids in her purse for her blisters. Yet she continued to wear them. Why? It it worth enduring the pain to fit into those shoes? Where do we draw the line?

Fashion isn’t supposed to hurt. It just isn’t worth it.

Why do women wear things that cause injuries?

As a 40-something with truly horrendous podiatric problems today, I’m here to tell you that the abuse I put my feet through during my 20s and into 30s was NOT worth it. My heels and arches are destroyed, and my feet hurt every single day. Stop it, ladies, you’ll truly regret it later.

So you banned me, hahaha.
Let me get this straight. You take pics of strangers only to post them online to ridicule them. Yet you can’t take MILD ridicule yourself. hhhhmmm.
And to top it off, you bitch and moaned at flickr’s censorship, yet you clearly censor thoses who disagree with you.
Hypocritical much?
Do you think people don’t notice just how hypocritical you are? Seriously, it’s so obvious.

cornfakes are you really this desperate for attention? Really? It’s obvious you hate Malingering and her photos and everything that she’s about in this and flickr’s photostream. Why would you waste your time hunting down her photos to slam her about them? You think she’s gross. Point made. Move on. geeeesh

tequila, the comment was really not meant for you, it was meant for malign. why would YOU hunt me down? heh?
I’m not that obvious, what is obvious is that you got me all wrong. I’m not hungry for attention. I didn’t hunt her down, dude, this link is on her profile, hello! I actually enjoy some of malign’s pics, but I do think she’s hypocritical. Why bitch and moan about censorship when she herself censors for a very something so mild? Anyway, I wonder if she has the courage to answer legitimate questions.
cornfakes - June 4th, 2007 at 11:54 pm
Oh for God’s sake. How do I have you all wrong? You just called her a hypocritical coward. I’m trying to figure out what’s your point in trying to interact with her. Obviously you hold her in low esteem, why communicate with her? Are you hoping to convert her? Educate others about the evils of Malingering? What?
tequilaanddonuts - June 5th, 2007 at 7:33 am
cornfakes,
Malingering didn’t CENSOR you. She blocked you because you were a nuisance. What is typically called a “troll”. MILD RIDICULE is not how I would have described your comments. The simple fact that she did not wish to put up with your self-righteous puling does not make her hypocritical.
Guess what? You have an account on that website as well. Block her back. Or post snippy comments on your OWN photos. You still have a voice - you just can’t use it on HER photos. Which seems eminently justified to me.

cornfakes, if you had something interesting or funny to say maybe you wouldn’t have been blocked. All you did was make rude comments that had no redeeming value (humor, social commentary, etc). Malingering allows criticism by people who have something to say, but she doesn’t have to put up with repeated abuse if she doesn’t want to, just as you would be shown the door if you did that in someone else’s home. You are hardly being censored. You have your own photo stream to express your views as Bill S. mentions. Good luck finding anyone to look at it.
