I don’t know what animal this is. It’s something like a skunky-squirrel-weasel thing on steroids. Either way, it’s been laying dead on Dodger Stadium property for at least five days. I first spotted it on Tuesday, it seemed sort of freshly dead at that point. Thursday it was starting to collect some flies, and Saturday it just plain reeked.
My friend e-mailed the grounds crew, and we informed 3 different attendants about it. No one cares. It will probably be there until the end of the season. It seems to have been moved and Saturday it seemed to have less fur on it, like something had been gnawing on it.
If anyone can identify this thing, I’ve very curious as to what it is/was. Also if there’s anyone from Dodger Stadium who reads this thing, can you get rid of this nasty carcass please?
