uh oh. someone’s in trouble.
I wonder what happened here:
Dave:
If you are not moving in to a place then I am going to toss the stuff I have for you. We are trying to clean up our place. Also, we have your bike in our living room and mail from dad.

Sorry for getting angry with you last night. I am just really frustrated with not being able to communicate with you ever…
I talked with Aunt Grace today on the phone, she is going to be out of town starting tomorrow, and said that if you want her bed (and a lot of other house stuff) we can go over and get it, otherwise she will give it to somebody else. Please let me know what your plans are so that we can organize this stuff or else I am just going to get rid of it all.
What are you going to do about your bike?
I just miss you,
Michelle.
It sure would be easier to communicate with him if you had the right e-mail address. Just saying.
The next day:
Davey Boo,
Just wondering if you want to have coffee at Starbucks today? I can meet you anytime…..
Love you I do.
Apparently Davey didn’t show up, because then I got this one:
Dave,
What is the story for this weekend? Are you moving into your apartment? We want to help you out, but you have to let us know what your plans are!!! I am so frustrated with you for being so incommunicado that next time I see you I just want to scream at you! PLEASE email me with more than ½ a sentence so that next time I see you I am not so frustrated!!!! Mark has been calling as well wondering what-the-F, are you still around?????
And yes, I did inform her she had the wrong address. I still got six e-mails from her after that, including:
Laura Goodman has asked me to forward this and one more e-mail regarding this important reimbursement issue on to you for action. Thank you for your efforts on behalf of all patients who suffer from mental or emotional disease.
Thank you Amy for the happy day reminder! It is always great to remember such a wonderful person!!!! Happy Birthday!

Well, the proper email address would be a good start, huh?

You should reply to any other e-mails with “Dave’s not here, man. They sent him to prison.”
