Weightlifting Wednesday: back squats
5 reps: 45#
3 reps: 65#
3 reps: 85#
3 reps: 105#
3 reps: 125#
3 reps: 135#
3 reps: 150# (miss)
1 rep: 155#

I’m much better at overhead squats, for some reason, and I am starting to prefer them. My 1 rep max for those (last try) was 110# and those are supposedly harder. I think I don’t like having that big heavy metal bar resting on me. It’s weird.

Regardless of how frustrated I get, I have to say there were 3 totally awesome women in my class today and I love working out with them so much that I am going to start scheduling my work appointments around this class. That’s when the gym really makes me happy.
