facebook ads are ripping me off

This is the second time I’ve seen one of my photos used without credit or permission in a Facebook ad. It’s starting to piss me off. Plus it’s always for these lame ass diet scams which I completely disagree with, and that upsets me even more.

I don’t know if this will help, but it’s not Facebook actually making them. You’re allowed to report ads you see on Facebook. Of course the reasons aren’t that helpful (misleading, offensive or pornographic), but I’m sure you could contact Facebook about it. They aren’t the people stealing it, so they might help you out.

send a note to either facebook or the company posting the ad. make it clear that if they do not stop using your images you will be forced to take legal action.
copyright infringement is HUGE. take advantage of that fact. i have successfully dealt with it twice. in both cases checks arrived a few weeks later.

Did you ever take any action on this? You should, as hexodus pointed out above.
