I hate it when people can't be bothered to RTFA (Read The Fucking Article). It just displays their stupidity even more. When some of these people get kids (...wait....god forbid...nevermind) and responsibilities and learn what it's like to try to enjoy a family night out and what a total disappointment it is to have it ruined by some fucking moron that can't hold their alcohol and thinks their idea of a good time is acting like a door to those that are trying to watch the game and bopping beach balls around like a 2 year old, then maybe they'll understand. Especially when they paid for those tickets. If anyone wants to piss away their money they spent to see a game that they're obviously not paying any attention to, please - send it to me. I'll make sure the money goes to much better use. For the record, for the Colorado Rockies games I've been to in the past, I've never seen behavior like this in the stands. Even on a Friday night and especially on a freebee night. That kind of behavior is unacceptable. Like I posted on the comment thread back on LAist - if I take my kid to the game, do I want him to be subjected to moronic behavior of people who don't know how to behave in public? One of your pics was of that lame girl with the Dodger tube top with the clear bra straps. She must have walked up & down the stairs about 20 times - BEFORE the game started and then got up & down another 100 times DURING the game. And those damn kids & their f'ing beach balls...my friend & I got hit by those damn things all night. At one point, I offered a guy $10 to pop it. He just laughed as he threw behind him. I can sort of understand why the kids might be into the beach ball thing...but why were there so many males intrigued and captivated by balls? Just sayin is all!
