For the record, I’m a fat woman. In fact I’m a fat woman that helps run a size positive organization. I have NO problem with this site or with malingering. We’ve had many a chat in our group about how you present yourself - fat people are people first and they are subject to the same scrutiny as their smaller brethren. To imply that we’re not, is actually insulting in and of itself. We are not mentally ill, we’re just fat. I can tell you if I wake up tomorrow, take leave of my senses and decide to bedeck myself in a tube top and bike shorts, I will expect to hear about it. Especially since my upper arm flaps could injure children and seniors.

I’m the same way and I usually get yelled at for it, but if it’s the truth, it’s gonna get said. Also, if I can dish it out, I can most certainly take it .

Keep doing what you’re doing, because goddamn it, we need more people like you. (And me!)

btw to Malingering - I was sorely disappointed in myself for missing the opp to photo a GIRL sporting the “waist-band of jeans, with belt, under the butt - leaving jockey shorts totally exposed” look. I’m horrified that this “style” has, apparently, crossed genders. I saw it in Long Beach - so keep your eyes open!
