"Yeah, people like the one in this pic totally deserve to be ridiculed. But the reader suggestion you’re referencing was in regard to an overweight guy who was doing nothing more egregious than dating a girl out of his league. It did seem a bit harsh."

ah.. hmm.. okay, wasn't the point of the picture in question that malingering was wondering how some couples hooked up because they look mismatched? And isn't your statement above, about a guy dating a girl out of his league exactly THE SAME THING THAT SHE WAS SAYING?

For the record, I'm a fat woman. In fact I'm a fat woman that helps run a size positive organization. I have NO problem with this site or with malingering. We've had many a chat in our group about how you present yourself - fat people are people first and they are subject to the same scrutiny as their smaller brethren. To imply that we're not, is actually insulting in and of itself. We are not mentally ill, we're just fat. I can tell you if I wake up tomorrow, take leave of my senses and decide to bedeck myself in a tube top and bike shorts, I will expect to hear about it. Especially since my upper arm flaps could injure children and seniors.

I love it when people are honest and call them as they see it.

I'm the same way and I usually get yelled at for it, but if it's the truth, it's gonna get said. Also, if I can dish it out, I can most certainly take it .

Keep doing what you're doing, because goddamn it, we need more people like you. (And me!)

Dear Reader Feedback person - I'm a major female fatty and have NO issue with this site. In fact, I love it. I've never felt she made fun of fat people, she makes fun of all people who don't know how to dress themselves!!

btw to Malingering - I was sorely disappointed in myself for missing the opp to photo a GIRL sporting the "waist-band of jeans, with belt, under the butt - leaving jockey shorts totally exposed" look. I'm horrified that this "style" has, apparently, crossed genders. I saw it in Long Beach - so keep your eyes open!

i always find myself laughing at this site and for all the absurdities it points out that sometimes people are too pc admit is true. sometimes i think she's just mean-spirited and a little hypocritical. but mostly i just think it's hilarious. especially since i just have visions of this little asian girl running around la with a camera around her neck taking pictures of the funny americans.

that green belt is quite chic!
...relate? this is the "spare the rod, spoil the (fat) child" camp here! instead of candy cane, use cinnamon stick (or if you're of age and sufficiently monogamous, a thick dick.)
