I’m not really sure. I guess it’s like loving your partner despite the fact that they have terrible smelling gas and never refill the Brita and leave toe nail clippings on the couch. You just sort of suck it up.

It took me 3 1/2 hours to go from south to north LA via I-5 once….I decided I’d fly down to southern California and back rather than ever drive again.

I guess it’s sad that this just made me laugh cause it was so horribly familiar (I live in LB). Though I am surprised you hit it on a holiday week – my commute to the OC was pretty breezy.
