I take all of these pictures myself, in a (futile) attempt to expose the ridiculous world around me. Despite the words of the critics, it is not meant to objectify women, encourage mean-spirited insult wars, or drag fat people to a lower rung of society. It is just documentation of the world I live in – in my own sarcastic way.
The beginnings of this website were on Buzznet in 2003, I later (thanks to my co-workers) joined Flickr on December 14, 2005, and that’s when I started to get a bit of an audience. I started this blog after realizing that I was marked NIPSA (a.k.a. being censored) by Flickr, so it was time to break free and go on my own. Also, as several people vehemently (and repeatedly) pointed out to me, Flickr is about photography, and what I do is NOT photography (see the review page for details). In a way, this wasn’t meant to be about pictures, but rather a documentation of the world around me with a bit of commentary to explain the image. Maybe blogging is the way to go.
